Giveaway - Skinny Bitch in the Kitch

Don't let the title scare you. The authors of Skinny Bitch in the Kitch deliver a serving of no-nonsense nutrition advice with a healthy side order of yummy recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I have to admit that this cookbook is one of the most recent additions to my collection. For a while, I held off buying it because - for some reason - I thought the recipes were heavy on meat substitutes, which we use sparingly. However, when I finally purchased it, I was thrilled to find many whole-food-based recipes (and a few yummy "splurges") for us to enjoy.

Our favorites so far include the Green Goddess Pasta and Shepherd's Pie, which we'd actually been making for quite some time since the recipes are on their website. For Christmas, I made the chocolate chip cookies, and they were beyond amazing! Although vegan baking is my strong suit, I've had less luck with cookies than with cakes, muffins, etc. so I was thrilled to find such a great cookie recipe. We also love the Agave Dijon dressing (although I replaced half the oil with water so it wouldn't make me feel as guilty).

Okay, so why am I telling you all this? This isn't a book review post, after all. My point is that to kick off the start of our new blog, we'll be giving away a copy of this book to one lucky reader. Here's the deal:

1. Drawing will occur on Sunday, January 16th. I will stop accepting entries at 6PM Eastern time.

2. There are four ways to earn entries:
     a. Sign up to follow the blog.
     b. Leave a comment on any post (one entry per comment).
     c. Tell a friend. If they mention you in a comment, you'll both get an entry.
     d. Like us on Facebook.

That's pretty much it. So comment away . . . those drool-worth chocolate chip cookies are calling your name!
